FARDEEN FC TRAILBLAZERS LOSES PLAYER HAMISI DOSHO

R.I.P Hamisi Dosho
All of us at
FARDEEN FC TRAILBLAZERS will miss you!

I watch the world get to stand still as governments decide to lockdown entire cities and cease operations in others.

My country Kenya was no exception. First it started as a cessation in major cities Nairobi, Mombasa. There is no movement into or out of these cities. I live in Nairobi so this was a bummer for me. Mainly because I have a Football Team whom I support an love to spend time with at lease once every month.

This for me means that I cannot go to spend time with my friends. Worse still social distancing has caused my team not to be together. It is with sadness that I share with you today.

My heart was heavy when I received the news that I have lost a dear friend, a FARDEEN FC TRAILBLAZERS rising star - Hamisi Dosho. He was in Grade 7. He was 13 years old. And played in the U-14 boys team in the mid-fielder position. He died on 18th May.

I want to send my sincere gratitude to The Mombasa and Kwale County governments for allowing Hamisi's friends - various football teams - from the neighboring wards to attend the burial ceremony. He was buried on 19th May in his home town in Kwale, at Tiwi Pongwe Village.

In his honor, I hope to host a memorial cup after this COVID-19 nightmare is over and the proceeds will be channeled towards the education of his brother Khadir Dosho who is the Captain of the FARDEEN FC TRAILBLAZERS U-12 boys team.
